Our team at Boardman Nissan is working diligently with the Ohio Department of Health, the CDC, and the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association to assure the safety of your and your loved ones during these uncertain times.

We are following very strict guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 all while maintaining a functional service for you to utilize. Steps we have taken include:

  • Tape lines to mark a safe social distance between individuals.
  • We have closed off the Service Department to employees only.
  • We have a strict drop off/pick up policy for vehicle service.
  • We have implemented an online storefront to minimize in-person contact.
  • We offer free vehicle delivery for purchases.
  • We offer free home pickup/delivery for service.
  • We have minimized the staff to avoid excess contact.
  • We are completely sanitizing all vehicles before pick up and after drop off.
  • We are completely sanitizing all work stations multiple times/day.
  • We are completely sanitizing all public entrances and points of contact (door handles, restrooms, etc…)
  • We have implemented an online payment option for service customers to receive repair orders/make payments in the palm of their hand.

Your health and safety are our utmost priority. Though we are navigating through uncertain times, we can assure you that we are in this together! The war will be won and there’s most definitely a light at the end of the tunnel.

Vehicle Pick Up Process

Customer MUST fill out drop off form-complete with details and must be signed (just as they would be dropping off at Service Department)

Employee is not to discuss symptoms of the vehicle or why it’s being diagnosed or brought in for service. That should be discussed between the customer calling in for appointment and on the drop off form description; also when the advisor contacts the customer with diagnosis/information.

Employee is not to discuss the cost of any service if asked. Customer should refer back to the advisor.

EMPLOYEE:

When picking vehicle up from customer,

Must perform vehicle inspection walk-around with customer present. Make any notes on walk-around form (inspect for scratches, damages, etc…). Take good notes.

MUST wear gloves.

When picking vehicle up from customer, Employee MUST wipe off with disinfectant:

  • Steering wheel
  • Shift knob
  • Push button
  • Wiper selector
  • Turn signal selector
  • Arm rest (if not cloth)
  • Door armrest/window switch door lock switch
  • Inside door handle
  • Outside door handle
  • Keys

When delivering vehicle back to customer, Employee MUST wipe off with disinfectant:

  • Steering wheel
  • Shift knob
  • Push button
  • Wiper selector
  • Turn signal selector
  • Arm rest (if not cloth)
  • Door armrest/window switch door lock switch
  • Inside door handle
  • Outside door handle
